Your model, next to what really happened.

Fiaris Model is the product the roadmap leads to. You model a company, and Fiaris shows how often comparable companies reached the same numbers, including the ones that did not survive.

03Principles

The filing is the record. We only change its shape.

These rules apply to every page, every export and every answer an agent receives.

01As reported
Labels, order and units stay exactly as the company printed them. We never rename a line or invent a note.
02Every number has its source
A figure links to its footnote and MD&A passage only when the filing proves the link.
03Primary sources
SEC filings and official public series, processed by our own pipeline, each with a path back to the document.
04Derived means labelled
Anything we calculate, such as a derived fourth quarter or a market index, is marked as calculated by Fiaris.
05Gaps stay visible
A filing we cannot verify is shown as missing. It never becomes a zero or an estimate.
06History is kept
Amendments and restatements stay linked to the original filing, so you see what changed and when.

05Team

We built the tool we needed.

Fiaris started while we were setting up a private investment fund. Every valuation began the same way: copy each number from each annual report into a spreadsheet, then go back to the document to find out why it moved.

A small script that pulled the reported facts into Excel made the real problem clear. The numbers were the easy part. Everything that explained them was locked in documents. We set the fund aside to build this instead.
